Filming locations of Music video

This map is the map of valentines park, it shows us different parts of the park so we have many options of where we want to film. These images are possible places in the park we can film in such as a lake, near a house or in a maze in the park. We have chosen valentines park to film one of our parts of the music video because it is a very beautiful park and there are so many nice places in different parts the park.

This is the entrance to valentines park and straight away from looking at the entrance you can tell that it is a modern park and would be very attractive.

This is a modern house in the park near a pond in valentines park which also shows it is very modern.

This is the beautiful lake in valentines park hopefully this winter it will still look as beautiful because it would be perfect to film parts of our music video next to the lake.

The mood-board of our song for our music video

This is my the mood-board for my music video, this mood-board shows depression,sadness,guilt and regret throughout most of it. There are also some elements of happiness in this music video which are the memories between her and her ex boyfriend before the breakup. The breakup happened because she did something really bad and the lyrics tell us that she has done something very wrong. It could be that she cheated on him or maybe she did something else its all a mystery to the audience.

This video animatic shows us how the story reflects onto the song as in this video we start off with a young teenage girl playing the guitar for the beginning of the song which has a guitar intro. Also during this video of our storyboard it shows us different locations such as the park.

Initial Research and Target Audience: For our research we asked a few people what they thought of our song and they gave us their opinions. We asked them what the song reminded them of and most of them said love and regret. We also asked them how the song made them feel and most of them said it made them feel sad and emotional because they understood the lyrics perfectly as the lyrics were about forgiveness. The final question we asked them was which artist does it remind them of and some said Kelly Clarkson because it is a country song but some people said it reminds them of Adele because the song is about love and forgiveness which is what Adele's songs are mostly about love and her songs are also emotional so therefore it fits in with Amanda Lucas's song as it is also sad and emotional. 

Info about our music video and the artist

The song we have chose is called I'm sorry and its by Amanda Lucas. Amanda Lucas is a singer/songwriter from Louisville Kentucky, and she came into music without prior family influence or interest in her talent, her music career sprouted from uncultivated talent. Amanda Lucas began singing at the age of 2, and as her family would say, she sang before she learned to talk, using any household item she could find as a microphone—including items from under the bathroom sink. At the age of 13, Lucas attended her first concert. After seeing country singer Deana Carter perform, she purchased a guitar for 50 dollars and taught herself to play; mostly by ear, with the help of a friend, and some cheap music books. A few years later, after playing for her “Discovering the Arts” class, she performed, upon request, at the high school’s winter semi-formal. Caring pushed Amanda Lucas to do what she does best and that is to sing her heart out and have true meaning behind her songs so therefore this song called I'm sorry has a true meaning behind it that's why we chose it. The meaning behind this song is asking someone for forgiveness.

In our music video we are going to have a key person to focus on and she is going to start off in a house playing the guitar singing her heart out because she is upset about something and has something on her mind so therefore in this song she will be singing and apologising for something that happened in the past and she can't forgive herself for what she did. Also in this video she will be walking around feeling sorry for herself as well as feeling bad about what she already did and not being able to change anything about it. The true meaning behind this song is about asking for forgiveness and thinking that you don't deserve someone after what you did. "The main lyrics of this song are i never meant to hurt you, i know i don't deserve you I'm sorry". These lyrics show that she is asking someone to forgive her eventhough she don't deserve them because she never meant to hurt them.
